What's New at Pipe Fitters 533
(O31) Jerry M. Katzer, 83, of Garnett, KS passed away November 28, 2020. He was originally initiated 2/9/1957 and was reinstated 7/11/1966 (54-years of service). He retired 12/1/1998. He has two brothers, Fred Katzer and Maurice Katzer who had recently passed away 7/22/2020, a nephew, Pat Katzer and cousin, James Katzer; all Local 533 pipefitters. Funeral service currently pending.
(O30) James L. Stine, 81, of Kansas City, MO passed away December 1, 2020. He was initiated 1/4/1965 (55-years of service) and retired 5/1/1999. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Online Condolences can be made here.
In an effort to provide a safe work environment for the membership and officers and staff at Pipe Fitters Local 533 our Office will close at 2:00 PM on the following Friday afternoons (with the exception for Nov. 25th which is a Wednesday) so the building can be fogged with disinfectant and wiped down for COVID-19.

-Main Entrance is NOW Open Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM till 4:30 PM
-Face masks provided and encouraged to wear
-Keep 6-foot social distance requirements
-Use provided hand sanitizer
-Must fill out screening questionnaire at dues window
-All dues payments, transactions, or any other business will be done through windows. (Local 533, Health & Welfare, Transamerica).
-Transamerica (Bob Burks) will now be open every Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. Mask is required to meet with Bob Burks.
